That would be pretty neat.

Italy's influence is really starting to seep into Chrysler. What I don't understand though, is why they'd have a person who has three large, inconcealable, black and white dongs test drive the car for them...

Probably because it's a Japanese test driver. In Italy we don't pixelate our attributes: check a Rocco Siffredi movie, for confirmation.

P.S. What I do find distrurbing in that picture, is the lack of a gear shift lever... but sure it's an age thing.

In the Rams, I reach for that dial now even when it has the old 6 speed. In the Durangos, I still grab for the lever even though they're all 8 speeds now. In both, I've accidentally shifted into drive instead of park. It's still better than the toggle shifter in the 300 and Charger though.

Just a personal question, because I never tried that shifting system: with a shift lever, you know which gear is engaged by its position. It's enough to touch it to know. With a knob it seems that you need to look at the display to understand which gear you're using and this looks to me terribly dangerous... but sure it's just my ignorance.

Eh, the dial is fairly easy to use without looking. Some old cars with shift levers can have the same problem you describe. For example, in our Stratus loaner car and my girlfriend's 98 Accord I always grab 3rd instead of drive. The toggle 8 speeds are much much worse. In those, you really have to pay attention when shifting, and actually look at the dash or shifter to double check what gear you're in.

Makes sense. The Avenger (sister car to the 200) is available in awd. The Charger, 300, and the (thankfuly) now-defunct Caliber have all been available with awd.
